The Norman's Heart ePUB Ô The Norman's Kindle -

The Norman's Heart The Norman s Heart by Margaret Moore released on Feb ,is available now for purchase Fairly steamy Solid enough read I suppose. I don t generally like Harlequin books they re not meaty enough for me , yet somehow I always end up buying Harlequins and not realizing it until I get the book home And then I don t enjoy them But I was actually excited to read this, because I like medieval romance.I also liked the cover and I really liked the image on the back, which shows the MCs having a good ole time. When I started reading this, I was pleasantly surprised I liked the characters and side characters, finding them well I don t generally like Harlequin books they re not meaty enough for me , yet somehow I always end up buying Harlequins and not realizing it until I get the book home And then I don t enjoy them But I was actually excited to read this, because I like medieval romance.I also liked the cover and I really liked the image on the back, which shows the MCs having a good ole time. When I started reading this, I was pleasantly surprised I liked the characters and side characters, finding them well developed with seemingly little effort on the author s part Their interactions seemed natural and amused me, and the leads intrigued me I love marriages of convenience, especially when they involve two strangers who have to overcome their differences before falling in love. That definitely happened here Roger was kind of a blustering jerk, but it was evident that he only acted that way because 1 he thought it was expected, and 2 he sometimes had to cover up his own confusion and insecurity He had slept with one of the servants before he was to be married, but before the wedding even took place he told her their liaison had to end So he was pretty decent at heart, even though he didn t know how to act at times. One thing that utterly dumbfounded me was what the heroine did on their wedding night She view spoiler didn t want to sleep with him, so she concocted a plan to drug him After the drug took effect, she cut her finger to put blood on the sheets, ripped her clothing, and rubbed the wine on her skin to look like bruises When he woke up, she told him that he hurt her and showed him the bruises He was aghast Since he couldn t remember any of this since it didn t happen , he went around for several days believing he d beaten her, when he had never hit a woman before hide spoiler WHAT THE FUCK When she finally explained it to him, he was rightfully angry It was somewhat explained by her past, but I was just so confused by this scene Like, WHY Surely there was a better way to create conflict than unnecessarily malicious deception.Anyway, this got a bit cheesy toward the end, but I enjoyed it nonetheless I can t say I ll read it over and over, but for now I m going to keep it in my collection I really enjoy seeing two headstrong people battling out in a fight for love Mina is so tenacious and likable I really enjoyed reading this book again It s a definite must for anyone who loves historical romance. This book writer is very very good,.it is exciting from beginning till the end.Lady Mina, not so beautifull, has to married with the cold, hard and demanded Sir Roger,..He dont believe in love, only in obedience,..from his wife. But Mina, wants respect, and will get it,..but it is very hard to get, from someone, who never in his life was told, what to do or not And what to do if love is in the air ,..This book is just like Connie Mason,it gaves me tears in my eyes
